What it does
Voice Dream Reader reads documents aloud. You can import PDFs, EPUBs, Word documents, PowerPoint files and web pages, then listen in a voice you choose while adjusting speed, pronunciation and playback settings. While listening you can highlight passages, add notes and export your work. Listening works offline, and you can continue across iPhone, iPad and Mac. The site puts accessibility first: it describes full VoiceOver support, Dynamic Type, Voice Control and refreshable braille display support, and says every release is tested with assistive technology. The page reports more than 14K reviews in the app stores with a 4.5 star rating, and links to a separate Voice Dream for Schools page.
