What it does

Vox Director is an agent skill, a SKILL.md workflow that coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex can follow, for making short videos in an editorial paper-collage look: cut-out shapes, torn edges, tape, halftone dots and bold flat colour. You give your agent a one-line topic and it works towards a finished mp4. The pipeline writes a beat map, renders the same beat in several style themes for you to choose from, generates one collage poster per beat, animates each poster, adds a narrator voice and background music, and assembles the result with ffmpeg, including captions and a watermark. Two human decision gates keep you in control: you approve the beat map and you pick the style. Other input modes reuse the same engine: re-styling an existing talking-head video, building the collage around a single still photo (with the narration optionally in a cloned voice), and a presenter mode that adds a lip-synced digital presenter. Generation runs through the Atlas Cloud API with the models named in the README, so it needs an Atlas Cloud API key, ffmpeg and Python with Pillow.
