Observability & evals

What it does

WhereMyTokens is a local-first desktop app for keeping an eye on AI coding usage. It sits in the Windows tray and reports quota windows, token totals, API-equivalent cost estimates, cache efficiency, sessions, model usage, activity patterns and git output. You can switch on Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity or any combination. It reads local provider files and contacts only the enabled providers when a live usage request is needed. For Claude Code it prefers the official statusLine bridge for 5-hour and 7-day limits. The README says there is no cloud sync or telemetry and that the app does not ask you to paste API keys. Extras include a draggable taskbar mini display, activity heatmaps, cost display in USD, KRW or CNY, and English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese interfaces. Downloads are a Windows 10/11 installer and a portable ZIP. A separate menu bar edition for Apple Silicon Macs is linked from the page and lives in its own repository.
