Flowmaps

Flowmaps is a visual app planner that turns an app idea into a feature map and a step-by-step build plan for an AI builder.

Task management

What it does

The user describes an app idea in plain words or pastes a website link. Flowmaps turns the idea into a map of features and puts them in build order. The Scan for gaps action checks the map for items such as logins, security, a database for data, privacy rules and emails. Flowmaps then writes a step-by-step build plan for the chosen AI builder. Supported builders are Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Cursor, Claude Code and Codex. The plan can also be copied into any other AI builder. Flowmaps does not build the app. The AI builder does the building. A board shows what is built and what is next.

Capabilities

  • Risk warnings cover payments, personal data and costs.
  • Flowmaps explains why each gap matters for the app and where it fits, and the user chooses what to add.
  • Thirteen example maps cover mobile apps, SaaS tools and internal tools.
  • Pro includes the ability to email ideas straight onto the map.
  • Pro includes public help pages, an activity log and two viewer invitations for clients or advisors.

When to use it

  • Planning a mobile app, SaaS tool or internal tool before asking an AI builder to build it.
  • Getting an app that is already partly built back on track by describing what already works or pasting the website link.
  • Planning a bigger app and handing Claude Code or Cursor one clear step at a time.
