Hostinger Connector Brings Hosting Controls Into AI Coding Workflows

Hostinger has introduced Connector, a free extension that links supported AI coding tools to more than 100 Hostinger capabilities, including project deployment, domain and DNS management, VPS administration, billing and ecommerce functions.

Hostinger connects coding assistants to hosting tasks

Hostinger has introduced Hostinger Connector, a free-to-install extension intended to let developers manage selected hosting and infrastructure tasks through compatible AI coding tools.

According to Hostinger’s 2026 product updates page, Connector gives AI coding assistants access to more than 100 Hostinger tools. Those tools span domains, websites, virtual private servers (VPS), billing and other account functions.

The product is designed to bring hosting administration closer to the coding environment. Instead of moving separately between an editor, a hosting dashboard and domain-management pages, developers can use conversational instructions in a supported assistant to perform available Hostinger actions.

Supported AI coding tools

Hostinger’s Connector product page names Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Devin as supported AI coding tools. The company says developers can use Connector to deploy projects and manage domains and VPS resources through chat-based workflows.

The Visual Studio Marketplace listing describes a broader set of compatible assistants, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude and Codex, alongside other compatible tools. It says the extension connects those assistants to Hostinger functions covering domains, DNS, websites, VPS, billing and ecommerce.

The differing lists reflect the product’s availability across coding environments and integration methods. Hostinger’s own documentation remains the primary source for the actions it presents as supported.

Beyond deployment integration

Connector’s described scope goes beyond sending application code to a hosting service. Hostinger says it can support domain-related work, DNS management, website tasks, VPS administration and account functions such as billing.

That potentially places operational controls alongside code-generation and code-editing features already used in AI-assisted development environments. For a developer hosting a project on Hostinger, this could reduce the number of separate interfaces involved in routine work such as deploying an update or changing a domain configuration.

However, the practical set of available actions may vary by coding environment, the connected Hostinger service and the account permissions granted by the user. Teams using the extension for production systems will need to consider who can authorize instructions affecting deployments, DNS records, domains or server resources.

Availability

Hostinger says Connector is free to install. Setup and compatibility information are available through the company’s Connector page and its Visual Studio Marketplace listing.

The release shows hosting providers exploring a broader role for AI coding tools: not only helping developers write software, but also connecting those tools to the services used to publish, configure and operate that software.
